Last Bachelor Post !! :)

This is officially my last post as a bachelor ... :) I am leaving for India in about 15 - 20 minutes now and wont be able to login - blog until after my wedding ... so just wanted to take this time to write my (99th post btw :)) last bachelor post... how cool of a coincidence will that be, 100th post, century as a married man ;) ...

I dont know whether I will miss being a bachelor or not ... Whether I will miss blogging as a bachelor or not or if there is any difference at all ... but I soon am gonna find out for sure ... :) .. I received so many emails in reply to the marriage invite which mentioned, 'tu to ab shahid ho gaya', 'Welcome to the ball and chain club' etc etc ... but as I said to everyone - 'ab agar yeh khudkhushi bhi ho, magar ek bar karke dekhne ka dil kar raha hai ' :) ..

Apartment Search !!

Yes, you have every right to ask... go ahead .. who writes a blog on the apartment search right ? Absolutely true ... and this is not the first time I was looking for an apartment either so what made this apartment search so special ?

Well, this time I was looking for an apartment not just for myself !! It was for me and my wife-to-be ...both of us ... Before today, I never had to think about anyone else but myself and my needs .. :) .. Never thought of more than the hall size for my big screen TV or a shaded parking spot or even laundry inside the apartment itself .. But this time it was more than that ...

There is going to be one more person staying in that apartment ... with me !! I had to think from the community and facilities to the closet space ... Give the different ratings based on the size of the Kitchen and size of the apartment !!! This may sound funny (and even ridiculous) to some of the bachelor guys ... I know, it might have sounded the same to me a few years back .. :) But whatever you say, there was a whole different perspective to this tedious process (as tedious as the job search) of apartment search .. a kind of responsible tinge to it :)

First time, I felt responsible ... Responsible for someone other than me ... A good sign I guess :) !

Mood Swings !

Its almost been a couple of months and I havent blogged ... Doesnt mean I didnt think of it ... I thought of it - at least a hundred times ... but didnt actually blog ! Not sure why ... There was some drama in between (which some of you are aware of) which kept me and my blogs away from the world for a short period of time but then even after that I never got back to blogging ... Frankly I dont know why ... And believe me it feels so weird to blog about why you are not blogging these days !!

I havent yet figured out the reason ... maybe I am waiting for something ... something like that ... Its that push from within thats missing ... maybe I am too engrossed in other things ... but if you really like something and want to do it, you always can find time for it ... so I guess, its not a good reason ... In fact, no reason is a good reason ... I myself dont know ...

Its not just blogging - its with many other things as well ... there are thousands of people I am supposed to return calls of , there are bills I am supposed to take care of and there are monthly expenses to be written down and so on .... but nothing of that has got a spot in my daily routine .. Its weird .. I just keep postponing it and postposning it ... forever ! I watch movies, play cricket, tennis and do other things but overall life has become monotonous and dull ... I think I need a break ... I need to get away and go to India .. but when I tell this to anyone, they are like, didnt you just go to India in Jan ? but my question is - cant one need couple of breaks in a year ? But then again I dont know if thats the real reason ... Anyway this blog is a serious attempt to get the wheel moving and start blogging again ... lets see how far I go with it this time ...

But hey, I do manage to sing and record songs these days ... and I am updating the blog playlist on top ... so till the time I get back to blogging full time, please have a listen and dont forget to leave a comment on any of the posts ...
